"At Liebermanns'" is a unique VR experience where visitors can explore for the first time the apartments and the atelier of the famous impressionist artist Max Liebermann, as they were in 1920.

Max Liebermann's house was destroyed during World War 2 and, as a result, VR offers the best way to revisit this iconic space in a fully immersive way.

In collaboration with the Stiftung Brandenburger Tor, the titanic project required the reproduction of more than 100 objects and furniture of the time in 3D, based on black and white photographs and archives of the time.

The Ikonospace team used some of the latest technologies in 3D graphics and photogrammetry to recreate an almost perfect replica of the space.

Filled with more than 40 artworks from the artist and also from his collection including paintings from artists like Degas, Manet, Monet and Cezanne, to name a few.

Visitors are guided by compelling storytelling and can interact with the artworks to know more about Liebermann’s life and his collection of artworks and antiquities.

This project is currently shown at the Max Liebermann Haus of Stiftung Brandenburger Tor on Pariser platz, Berlin.
